Training CNC Talent: What Our Fitters Learn
Machine building is a craft: how fitters and test engineers are trained over years, and why buyer teams benefit from the same training during commissioning.
A machine tool is thousands of decisions made by hands. Behind every levelled bed and preloaded bearing stands a fitter who learned why, not just how. That training takes years, and it shows up in the machine you buy.
The Learning Path
- Year one: bench skills, reading blueprints, torque and bearing discipline.
- Year two: spindle and ballscrew assembly under supervision.
- Year three: geometry measurement, laser and ballbar interpretation, scraping.
- Then: solo builds, run-off testing and customer commissioning.
We extend the same teaching to customer teams during commissioning: leveling, daily checks, indicator tests and simple diagnostics. A buyer who understands the machine halves the service calls over its life.
Training materials in English come with every export machine, and video follow-ups are available after our engineers fly home.
